I am a psychologist who specializes in children, adolescents, adults, and family needs. My orientation is eclectic. I draw from insight-oriented therapies, narrative therapy, and cognitive/behavioral approaches. I work with individals and families who have experienced trauma and chronic illness, developmental disorders, and the normal processes of change along the life cycle.I have trained and supervised many psychologists and other mental healthcare specialists over many years. My training includes a doctorate, specializing in school psychologist, from Yeshiva University, and two post-doctoral fellowships, one in child clinical psychology at St. Christopher's Hospital in North Philadelphia and one in family systems therapy at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Center. I also am a trained hypnotherapist, My affiliations include the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic and the Counsel for Relationships,now associated with Jefferson University, previously the University, Department of Family Medicine. Within these setting, I have trained graduates of degree programs in individual, couples, and family therapy. My experience is broad and my approach is to respond to the needs of those working with me.I welcome new clients of all ages.I also am a peace psychologist and an oral historian.
