Dr. Raymond’s clinical work has spanned hospital systems and private practice settings. He completed his predoctoral internship at the Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Hospital and his postdoctoral fellowship at the Capital Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CICBT). He has served as a staff psychologist at both CICBT and the Behavior Therapy Center of Greater Washington, adjunct professor at Catholic University, and evaluating psychologist with Veterans Evaluations Services.
Before discovering his passion for psychology, Dr. Raymond worked in various corporate and non-profit settings. He graduated from Princeton and began his career at Google when an opportunity to work with Cape Town-based nonprofit Ubuntu Africa introduced him to both the direct provision of healthcare and the practice of mindfulness. He pursued research on mindfulness-based health interventions at The Catholic University of America, where he received his PhD in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Raymond’s clinical practice pulls from all of this experience, including a deep understanding of the pressures placed on high achieving individuals.
