Lori Romano, Ph.D. is a pediatric psychologist with more than 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents in pediatric hospitals and clinics.
Dr. Romano currently works at Nemours Children’s Health, TJU in Philadelphia.
She is lead psychologist for Primary Care Pediatrics and Associate Director of the Neonatal Follow Up Clinic. She is also clinical assistant professor of pediatrics in the associated faculty of Thomas Jefferson University.
Dr. Romano specializes in child and adolescent development.
Her interests include Neurodevelopmental outcomes of preterm and medically complex infants, psychosocial transitions from infancy to early childhood and childhood to adolescents, parenting style and the parent-child relationship. She has dedicated her career working with underserved populations with a focus on the psychological determents of health.
Dr. Romano provides direct psychological services to children and their families, consults with pediatricians and specialty physicians and participates in studies on neurodevelopmental and psychosocial outcomes of medically complex infants.
