I am a licensed psychologist with offices in center city Philadelphia and Broomall, PA. I work with individual adults and couples, and I have over 25 years of experience.
I have worked with young professionals looking to start a career and to have successful relationships. I have also worked with parents and older adults who are struggling with the stress of raising children, maintaining a healthy marriage, and negotiating family relationships. My training and background include a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a Doctorate in Psychology from Widener University. Both programs were psychodynamically oriented. I have also trained at Albert Einstein Medical Center, where I did an internship in the Outpatient Psychiatry Department. When I am working with patients with anxiety and depression, I often call upon meditation and mindfulness training and other symptom reduction techniques. Self-understanding and self-compassion are emphasized in my practice, as well.
