I am a licensed psychologist in PA, and I am Board Certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. I am also a Clinical Professor of Psychology in a psychology department in a medical school where I taught for 22 years. I studied Cognitive Therapy at Aaron Beck's Center for Cognitive Therapy at the University of Pennsylvania, and was colleague of David Burns, MD, author of Feeling Good and Feeling Good Handbook while at Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center. I practice cognitive-behavioral therapy-an active, solution-focused model designed to get results, quickly and effectively. In a supportive, collaborative working alliance, I use evidence-based techniques that have been shown to make a real difference in people's lives, and help them to cope in the future. I am fortunate to have been trained and supervised in CBT by some of the foremost authorities in the world, and I have likewise trained and supervised many practicing psychologists across the country. I am down-to earth, easy to talk with, and practical. I will work hard to understand you and help you to achieve your goals, including improved quality of life and resiliency.
