Date: Wednesday April 6, 2022

Time: 12:00 to 1:00pm

Location: Zoom

Topic: Closing a Private Practice—By Choice (Or Not)

Target audience: All Licensed Practitioners

Cost: FREE

Description: Sooner or later, your private practice will close.  You may retire and stop seeing patients.  You may choose to embark on another facet pf psychological services.  Or, your practice may suddenly stop because of your inability to work. This Chat & Chew is an opportunity to consults with colleagues about issues related to these possibilities.  Transferring patients, maintaining records, resources for professional wills, income-protection insurance, and similar topics will be considered.   Are you interested in advising others or learning how other psychologists are dealing with this?

A Chat and Chew offers an hour of informal discussion about topics of interest to psychologists at all career stages. They are free and carry no CE credit. PSCP schedules Chat and Chews at midday to allow participants to schedule their lunch time so that they can zoom-chat while eating. Sign in and join the informal discussion!

This program is FREE but you must be a member (general, associate, or student) and must register in advance to get the zoom invitation. This program does not offer CE credit.
